Janine Brown

Student Services Manager

Janine came to Darwin from Adelaide in 1972 on a two year work transfer. Darwin appealed so much she has remained here ever since (except for working in London and travelling overseas for a couple of years)

In May 1998 Janine commenced work at the Real Estate Institute in the administration section for the Agents Representative Registration course and is currently the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) Manager. With her two daughters and five grandchildren living in Darwin, plus the more relaxed way of life, Darwin is the preferred place for her.

Mitch Elton

Training Manager

Mitch came to the Northern Territory with her young family for a holiday in the early ninety’s for a holiday and fell in love with the place. We went home knowing that we would be back to live. Loving the outdoors already the opportunities in the Territory were endless. We relocated permanently in January 1998 and have not regretted it for one minute.

Mitch started in administration in Real Estate in 1999, later that year moved into Property Management which she did for 14 years all in the Territory. Mitch worked her way through the ranks to the position of Business Development Manager before joining the REINT in September of 2014. Mitch has been lecturing at the REINT since 2008 and now organises Professional Development for the Property Managers throughout the Territory.

I have been very fortunate to have wonderful mentors throughout my career in Real Estate and having the opportunity to now give back to the industry is a privilege.
